Just North of downtown, Temple University<\/a> is THE University of Philadelphia. Founded more than a 130-years ago as a night school for workers, today it has more than 35,000 students. Temple offers an abundance of programs and courses to inspire and challenge you. In the History Department<\/a>, over 30 faculty members research and teach classes on a wide range of fields, from American, African, and European history to global history, from gender history to Jewish history and food history, from early modern Europe to the postmodern U.S.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We encourage students in the MA program transcultural history<\/a> at the University of Erfurt to apply for a semester at Temple University. Each fall term, three fully funded positions are available in the DAAD-ISAP program.
(A full transfer of credits is possible.)
